« The title throws light on the meaning of the whole piece : the research on the relationship between dance and music is central. The close rapport Carlos Zingaro and I have concerning the question "how to make the audience enter the inside of a dancing body?" has allowed us to explore new ways of creation. The body-and-space sound system, the live processing of these sounds and the musical composition gradually worked out from these materials turn hearing into a medium for sight and help creating this intimate atmosphere. » Francis Plisson
“The echo of my body repeated in the flapping of a murmuring wing...”, comes above all from an encounter, that of Francis with Carlos, his violin, his machines. Then it is the work of a dancer/choreographer on his own body, its memory and future. It’s a hybrid creation, an in between space, where sound is generated by the movement of the “body-instrument”, and where the two artists use their memory space to create a live collective narration.
