"Ear to the wind" (1999)

When the world's spaces immobilize us…

When immobility or silence fully occupy space…

When inhabited space restrains our movements, constrains our thought or defies our dreams – a private space, or the space of the other…

When our inner spaces undergo a voyage to experience the void we sense in the infinite distance, right beside the ashtray sitting there on the ground, the bronze-footed stool, in a closed, circular space…

How bodies curve themselves to fit in this space, suspending themselves to astonish, to evade, to be neither one or the other… but hugging the circle's circumference, in a precarious balance…

A story that generates other types of interaction between music and dance that go beyond traditional monochrome harmonies and the rigidity of multirhythmic constructs.
