When the world's spaces immobilize us… When immobility or silence fully occupy space… When inhabited space restrains our movements, constrains our thought or defies our dreams – a private space, or the space of the other… When our inner spaces undergo a voyage to experience the void we sense in the infinite distance, right beside the ashtray sitting there on the ground, the bronze-footed stool, in a closed, circular space… How bodies curve themselves to fit in this space, suspending themselves to astonish, to evade, to be neither one or the other… but hugging the circle's circumference, in a precarious balance… A story that generates other types of interaction between music and dance that go beyond traditional monochrome harmonies and the rigidity of multirhythmic constructs.
